How can I stay safe on the site?

Avoid clicking links sent by people you’ve just met. Scammers use AI to target individuals based on their online activity and interests. These links may lead to adult content, phishing sites, or malware downloads. If someone sends you a link, consider uploading a screenshot to Norton Genie to check its safety. Be mindful of what you share online. The more personal information scammers gather, the easier it is for them to exploit you, especially with the help of AI. Consider using unique usernames and separate email addresses for dating profiles to protect your privacy. It’s also wise to review your social media presence on platforms like Instagram, X, and TikTok, as scammers often cross-reference dating profiles with other accounts. If a conversation feels strange or the person avoids answering questions directly, it could be a bot. Scammers use automated programs to operate fake profiles, with the goal of getting you to click on harmful links or disclose sensitive information. Bots typically follow a script and may respond with generic or irrelevant answers. Stay vigilant and trust your instincts.
